Hey, this is Neha with College Shortcuts. I hope you were having an incredible incredible summer. It has been jam-packed for me.I just wanted to touch base with you guys because I know that so many of you guys are so busy enjoying your summer weather. You know I've got some clients that are in Paris. I've got people that are all over the world enjoying and travelling with their family, but there's some big things that are happening.I've got to kind of touch base with you about this because the days keep rolling by. People keep forgetting what the month is and what's going on.

Well, just you so know, the month of July is coming. It's coming in pretty much a few days. One of the things I want to talk to you about here today is that July 1st is when over 200 colleges are opening their applications. Do you want to know what that means? That means that your kid could submit their college application Saturday. I know it sounds crazy, but Saturday. A lot of us are really busy kind of planning our 4th of July plans. I get that, but one of the things I've got to tell you is that we are not focused on the college process when really this is the time to be doing it. July 1st is coming up on this Saturday and applications are opening.

The second thing I want you to know is there's some big changes happening. College Board is opening their applications for taking the SAT in the next week as well. You can register for the SAT for the August 1st test date. Now you may not know this but on August 1st, I think its August 4th, regardless they're opening up an August test date for all of the stragglers to take it. Now let me tell you why this is important. Rarely can your kid take a test where it doesn't interfere with the school system. Think about it - August. What's before that? Summer. All the other tests or throughout the school year. Now those are kind of the two most important things that are coming up. We've got the July 1st test coming up, and then we've got the August SATD end.

The third thing is August 1st applications are opening. In four weeks your kid could apply. Just you so know, for all the kids that submit in August. It saves your kid a lot of stress and a lot of time when it comes to the college process, so that's another big thing I want you to know. I want you guys to know those are some important things. July 1st applications are opening for a lot of schools. August 1st all applications are open. You've got a August SAT, if you want to take it one more time, it just opened. If you need help with that let me know.I am working with students, just so you know, I finished up working with students in Europe over the last month. I think over a hundred applications. It's a lot of essays, but that was amazing. That was a great experience. I worked with this one kid where he was really not sure what he wanted to do. He was unsure if his resume was good. We were sitting there, it was beautiful outside. The European weather and getting all the work done. The summer's been amazing. Just getting to work with some of these incredible clients.

I wanted to let you guys know, we are now in the gear of your kid is going to be senior in less than five weeks. I mean a senior in high school.If you are looking to get some college admissions help, or you're looking for that information, or trying to figure out what the next steps are, or to get it done with a consultant in less than a week, I am here to support.Then the last thing just to make sure you guys know, my master class is going on this Friday.
